Matt Irving is a 21-year-old from North Providence - he went to North Providence High with my oldest daughter, Elyse. He's afflicted with a little-known disease, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy.

Kathy Lisi, a teacher at NPHS, has organized a Comedy Night at Catch A Rising Star Comedy Club to help the Irvings with their mounting medical bills.
